Bangkok Trip

Had been travel to Bangkok with my best maids - WY, Kim , WF & CY. WY & Kim was taken an earlier flight than us. They departed on Friday night where as 3 of us take the most early flight on Saturday. A fully shopping trips with them.

Day 1 - 07th August 2010

Our flight was @ 8.25am and we reached LCCT around 7.30am. Since we already check in thru website, we just drop off our lugagges at the counter & head to boarding since timing is just fine. Flight departed quite punctual and we reach Bangkok Airport @ 0945 (Bangkok Time). We took a public taxi to our hotel (First Hotel) to check in. While we were waiting for our baggages, WF just found that she didnt brought a long the hotel reservation check in voucher. OMG! Luckily they still allowed us to check in with the passports. :)

We drop off our baggages to our room and had a face wash then we head to Platinum Mall to meet WY & Kim. All of us was so hungry already so we didnt wait for WY & Kim and straight away rush to the food court and had our lunch. Sent them sms to inform them we having lunch @ the 6th floor Food court. Very fast, they were able to look for us and joined us for lunch as well.

After the lunch, we start our shopping. HAha:) Start from Level 5 till level 3 only on Day 1. Shop! Shop! Shop & day 1 I already bought a lots of things. After a while seems everyone is full of things with no hands already. Haha:) We shop till around 5pm where Platinum Mall close at 5pm. Walked back to our hotel to put down all the things we bought. Once back to room, we treid what we bought. luckily so far everything is fine and fit for me. Then time to meet up @ lobby for our dinner.

We had our dinner in COCA @ Siam Center. It was really delicious dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food especially the tom yam soup. :) Yummy! Yummy! After a full dinner, we headed to Siam Paragon department store to get our BRAS....Haha:) We really shopped till last minutes until all the shops want to close. By the time we back to hotel, already around 10.30pm and I found that I already hungry. We sat down outside near our hotel for beef noodles stall as our supper. Nice but very small bowl only and it cost 40 baht.

When back to the room, found that my legs were so tired. Then only we take turns to take bath. WY & Kim came to our room for chatting before we went to bed. 1st night we slept @ 1am. This is the latest night I had. Since I m pregnant, this is the days I walked so much and didnt had a nap. Haha:) Never think that my body can be so strong and I m ok.

Day 2 - 8th August 2010

Morning we had our breakfast in our hotel. Yee..the food is so lousy and nothing can be choose. Just simply eat something then we head to Chatucak (famous weekend market) by taxi. Since 5 of us sharing the cost. The transportation really didnt cost a lots to us even we always take taxi.

It was a sunny Sunday and it is so hot in Chatuchak. Like to shop there coz the things over there is quite unique. We didnt finished walk the whole market coz it was really too big and very hot. Still remember the yummy coconut ice cream! Still miss a lots of it. If I m not pregnant sure I ate more. This round I just ate few bites. Cant stop myself to continue eat somemore but others start warning me. :(

We backed to hotel around 2pm + to have a short rest. Then we continue again @ Pratunam. In the evening, we head to China Town for dinner. Too bad it was raining. Luckily it stopped after we finsihed our seafood dinner. Another delicious dinner @ reasonable price. Too hungry and busy chatting until forgot to take photos of the food we ordered. After that, we walked a while at the China Town since still early. We went to 合记林真香 to buy some pork sliced snacks as souvenirs. It is delicious but very hard to bring back to KL coz it is very crispy and easy to become small pieces. I still bought 2 packs. The coconut candy is nice too but out of stocks! When we are on the way back, we had a bird nest as dessert near there. Passed by the fruits stall and WY boughts ome cheeries & I bought some premium mini grapes. Now is cherries seasons and it taste good too.

Our journey not yet stop, we back to hotel to take bath and changed to a pretty dress again as we were heading to the Bayan Tree roof top lounge. There were a dress code. Shorts & flip flops is not allowed. They are quite crowded and we hardly get a seats. Luckily a male waiter are willing to help us to get a table after sometime. The night view is really nice & it was so windy that night and I felt so cold. We been there until around 10.30pm then only we left and back to hotel. Today I feel I m more tired than the 1st day. Wondering how come??May be climbed toomuch stairs today. I sleep once I back to room while they still busy to remove their make up. I didnt put make up. Hehe:) The place is nice but the expenses is not cheap.

Day 3 - 9th August 2010

Due to we do not like the hotel breakfast, we decided to had McD as breakfast. MOst of us tried the Samurai Pork Burger. It's yummy! Malaysia no pork burger! Hehe:) After the breakfast we start our shopping day again in Platinum Mall. Haha:) this round we start from Level 3 till B1. Really have the technic of walking only able to finish shop all the shops. I can say, once you see something you like, after bargain the price if you think is reasonable, you better buy it or else it is really hard to find back the shop again. This is the last day & last minutes shopping already. Everyone of us just like crazy. Haha:) Again until 5pm till the mall close then we only leave. Back to hotel to put down the things and had a short rest before dinner time. Again we choosed to dine in COCA again. This round is last dinner there and we really ordered like crazy. Order moressss but still we able to finsihed. Haha:)

After dinner, Kim wanted to have Swenson as dessert. In Bangkok everywhere you can see Swenson and the price are pretty lower than KL. Everyone enjoyed the ice-cream.

All of us had a mission tonight as we need to pack our baggages and get ready to return next morning. When I come my lugagges is only 6kgs + and when I return it become 15kgs + 4kgs + ( hand carry). See how much we had bought. Everyone also around 15kgs. After everyone mission is done, Kim & WY came to our rooms to chat aand they drank beer + eating the cherries. Hehe:)

Day 4 - 10th August 2010

Our flight is 12pm hence we booked a taxi to airport @ 9.30am. We found that Airasia is so strict now. They not allow us to check in the lugagges together. So the bagagges allowances cannot combine. Just luckily everyone is just fine. No overweight. Where Kim & WY they took a later flight than us, they allowed to check in together. How lucky she is. Her baggages allowance is 25kgs and WY also ordered 25kgs baggages allowance but she only used up to 18kgs. Still got extra for Kim to check in the handcarry lugagges.

A very tiring trip. But I really did enjoyed very much in shopping & food. Had been very very long time I didnt shop like crazy like this trip. Just buy what ever I like. here to share some with you what I had bought from Bangkok. All price range is from 60 baht to 260 baht. The whole trip I spent around RM1.5k. Thanks to all who so taking care of me during the trip. You all are so lovely and you are the BEST! I love you gals forever...Cheeers

13th Week Pregnancy

Compared to last pregnancy, this time the morning sickness was not so serious as last time. Still remember last pregnancy, I was vomit all the day until around 20th weeks. This time so far only occasionally vomiting & mostly in the morning time.

Finally the 1st trimester is over & entering the 2nd trimester stage. At early stage actually my condition is not very good. Doctor said I am very weak & need to take more rest. Given me an injection to stabilised the fetus and I was MC 2 days at home. Doing nothing but just sleep & eat. Due to very tired easily & I am still working, I always put my gal overnight in my in law place when hubby is outstation. Now I had been improved much a lots.

Belly also started to grow already.

Compared to last check up, the scan still can see a clearer pictures of baby. Felt so happy every check up doctor said baby is growing well. This time, can clearly see the active baby rocking & moving around inside my belly. Hehe:)

Doctor did asked us," Your 1st child is girl or boy?" We answered, "Girl". Then I asked, can see the gender already?? So fast can see? Guess what doctor say?? Haha:)

Baby Gender: SECRET (I wont disclose untill doctor had confirm) Haha:)

On the other hand, we request doctor to write us a referer letter for doing the detailed scan in UM. Hubby also asking, Dec can I still travel. Doctor said he will write the actual week of pregnancy letter to me only. Allow or not allow to aboard need to check with the Airlines.

I had checked online pregnancy 35 weeks & above cannot aboard already. But by that time I should be in week 32 ~ 33 only. So should be no problem since only a short trip.

Hope everything going smooth and next weekend I will be travelling to Bangkok with my girl maids. :)

Doctor reminded me next check up need to take blood test. :) **sweat** I scared pain. Sigh....

Bak Kut Teh

Since hubby is in KL, I brought him to a new restaurant in Tmn Cannuaght for Tied String Bak Kut Teh which recently my mom, dad, and family loves it so much. For me, I not really like Bak Kut Teh type of person but still can eat la. So today, hubby said go and have a try since my mom went to Taiwan and no one cook at home. See how Sheyanne lick the Pork Rib. Haha:) Yummy ! Yummy!

Wonderful Sunday

Had been sometimes didnt update my blog already. Hubby had been outstation to Penang for 2 weeks and he purposely come back to celebrate his birthday together. Haha:) Early morning, we went to Hakka Mee for breakfast then we brought Sheyanne for a hair cut. Hubby also had his hair cut together. After that, we went home to take bath and let Sheyanne had her nap before she go for her favourite Gymboree Play Class later. She looked more excited & happy in the play class compared to the music classes which she attended for last 2 months. Below is a video captured during her class. She was the shortest in class however still active and can follow the instructions. After class, we went to Sri Petaling to meet in law and head to the Tropicana for crab dinner. Haha:) A wonderful family Sunday.

A date with Wei Yee to Putrajaya Flora Fiesta 2010 for photo shooting. So I brought Sheyanne together to be model of Wei Yee. Haha:) Early morning 8.30am reach Wei Yee's house and we had a great yummy porridge as our breakfast before we depart. We were so angry as there is no signboard about the event at all as we reach Putrajaya. Weather was extremely HOT!. But finally we still maanged to be there by 10am. The sun is so big & sunny already. OMG. Thought of go for a walk for a while only. Luckily I brought stroller to push Sheyanne. Got no energy to carry her along. Haha:) No much nice flower also. Quite disappointed with the events but still managed to get some photos. End up we left at 11am and we sent Sheyanne back to my in law place then we met up Wey Foong for lunch together. A tiring day!

Lavazza Cafe

Long time didnt meet up with my buddies already. Since suppose we should have a Ching Yee's birthday celebration gathering but end up she is teh one who didnt turn up last minutes. Although she is absent buts till we didnt cancel the gathering. Thanks to my gals who purposely choose a place near my place. :) It is a new Italian cafe. Nice environment , food is so so only but comfortable place for a small gathering. :)

Sunway Lagoon

Had been do many years didnt been to Sunway Lagoon already. Total 5 adults + 3 kids + 1 senior citizen + 1 baby. 10 of us for the entrance tickets already spent RM600. It was so expensive although baby is FOC. But everyone did enjoyed very much especially the kids. The adults were really exhausted but they still full of energy.

Now they tends to check our bag before we enter the park as all outside food & drinks are not allowed even i brought a Pringles also cannot. I remember my last visit, we brought our own meal for lunch. Now they are clever already. All the food selling inside is so expensive. We brought some minerals water as well but yet not allowed to bring in. Chew have to bring all back to the car. So we enter to the park & while waiting, Sheyanne saw the merry-go-round and telling me," 马马，马马！" It already so sunny & hot.

Our 1st destination is the water park. After we reached there, Sheyanne keep pointing the pool and tell me ," boom, boom!" Haha:) means swimming. She likes it so much. So after changed, we have to put all our bags in a lockers. Again RM5/lockers /open. The kids was having so much fun in the pool there. Sheyanne yet very happy & like to be there. After some photos taken, we decided to ask hubby keep the camera & come & have fun together. So no photos taken during the most fun time!

After spend soemtime in the kids pool, we head to the wave pool. Sheyanne like very expert, she want to walk her own in the wave pool without us holding her. She was wearing a new "lifejacket" which her grandfather bought it for her at the entrance of Sunway Lagoon. She loves to kick the water when her legs cnanot reach the ground when she go further but yet she drank a lots of the pool water also. But she never scared of it and laugh so happily somemore. We wait for the big pail of water pour from head when the pail is full. Even Sheyanne enjoyed it so much. Actually i feel the power is so strong & i feel a bit pain when it poured also. There are now so high tech & you can top up ur credit at the wristband to spend for tube, food & others. So before we start, we already credited RM150 to it. We rented a single tube & a double tube bcoz not enough funds. If not, we will rent for more. But luckily we didnt rent so much. Only Jen allowed & dare to play those adults slide. Chew, Suk ee & Li Ee play some with him, while me and FIL bring the kids back to the kids pool. That place already can ful filled & they had lots of fun there. We had our lunch @ 1pm & due to limited funds, we only share share to have some. The kids have the priority to eat 1st. Sheyanne keep saying she want:" 肉肉." (chicken wings) only got 3 pcs how enough for them. So only kids have it. The food all is so expensive. 3 bottles minerals water , 3 Mee hoon & 3 fried rice + 1 set chicken wings cost us RM80 already. And all credited had been spend out. Haha:) After lunch, we continued teh fun in the water park till 2.30pm, then we head to River Rapids before we changed to dry clothes. Luckily the queue is not that long and we didnt spend much time on the queue. Everyone likes it except Him is scared. Haha:) After that, we went back to the water park & get all our bags out to changed to dry & clean clothes. After changed, we just realised everyone got sunburn. Especially Sheyanne & Ying had been tanned so much. I myself got sunburn on shoulder. FIL already very tired and he just sat a side to watch us have fun with those rides. We went for the merry-go-round, spinning cup, airplane, shoes, bill coaster, wagon wheels. All those kids can rides, we did tried all. Chew & Jen went for teh Lost City of Gold Roller coaster while we take the wagon wheels ride.

I really damn tired & not that feeling well when we about go back time. Too tired taking care the kdis. Haha:) Everyone have enjoyed so much. All kids already fall asleep in the car as just out from Car Park.
