This year of Ox I was having the longest Chinese New Year Holiday among the years. Due to the economy crisis, my company shut down for a whole week from 24th Jan till 1st Feb 2009. For me, this holidays was too long and a bit boring.
Eve Dinner on year of Ox
We are having a great reunion dinner in Restaurant Hee Lai Ton (Pudu) together with hubby famalies and relatives. All together had 3 tables and each tables having 9 pax only with RM988 menu Packages. The dinner was not so delicious and we felt that this dinner is so so so expensive. All families and paying for own but the menu and bookings are all donw by Aunty Jenny.
1st Lunar on year of Ox
Being the same as last year. After dressed up wentto Sri Petaling to have a brunch and then rush back to Rievera to meet all my uncles and aunties. The difference is only this year we are bringing Sheyanne around where as last year only both of us. Wow ... 1st day, Sheyanne income also not bad.. Haha:) But actually mainly from both of us and grandparents.

2nd Lunar on year of Ox
We went to my uncles house in Damansara which is near Sg Buloh. The Journey takes about 45 minutes to reach there from my mom's place. This is the 1st time I m meeting my cousin brother's son which was born on the same day with my little princess - Sheyanne. But the sizes are so big difference. Haha:) It was so happening as this gathering was having 3 babies and 1 kids. Lucas - 6.5 months, Michael and Sheyanne - 3.5 months and Cousin Johnny's daughter ( I dunno her name) - 2 years +. After that, we went to my 'yee poh' house which is my dad's cousin's house. Kind a further relatiaves relationship .. Thought of only collecting ang pao but unfortunately, the time we reached are so many peoples (who are not married) there and I need to give them ang paos.... Income cannot cover up what I gave. Too bad! After that, we went back to Sri Petaling coz we are having family dinner again together with hubby's relatives. Just same as usual, we were having steamboat at home.

No wheres to go, so we went up to the hill - Genting. Haha:) Together with Sheyanne. Departed aroudn 8.30am from home. Then had our breakfast at Old Town. While they are gambling, me, Li Ee and Suk Ee bringing Sheyanne to First World to have a walk and shopping (window shopping only). When she almost times to drink milk, we walked back to the Genting Hotel's lobby. Haha:) Her daddy won a bit money but her grandpa lost a lots of money. When daddy met us at lobby, we went out for her to try the cold weather and also take photographs. Sheyanne seems like prefer in cold weather rather than hot. We went home around 2pm +. It was so many cars when we are on teh way home. Luckily we went early and back early. If not, sure will be very crowded.

We had a gathering at Uncles Eng's place together with Yvonne and Ryan, Jessica and Raymond included her new born baby - Zoey Lee. Zoey was about 2 months elder than Sheyanne. Haha:) So happy that we are having such gathering after our Italy honeymoon trips. We hope that we can have such gathering every year and keep in touch with everyones. Yvonne and Ryan should work harder coz we are looking forward to your new members next year. As Aunty Lilian is in Ipoh, we are planning to meet her in Ipoh again somewhere around June. Waiting for confirmation. Our steamboat started aroudn 2pm + and we dismiss at about 5.30pm +. After that, rushing back to Sri Petaling to take bath and getting to Restaurant Hee Lai Ton (Pudu) to join my primary mates gathering. All together we are having 4 tables there having nice food and meeting all the old friends. Haha:) Some of them from outstation and some of them from overseas. Due to bringing Sheyanne along, we left around 10.30pm where as some of them still having second round of drinking in Pavilion. All the best to everyones and hope we meet again next year. Li Ee, Suk Ee and Hao also started work. Since Him Him came, we planned to bring him to Mid Valley walk walk coz me and hubby also miss the Sushi Zanmai fresh sashimi. Haha:) When we reached, mom-in-law said that Alvin is on the way coming and wnat to follow us go. Wah..me and hubby is so damn hungry we didnt take our breakfast somemore they reached so late. Once reached the Gardens, the Sushi Zanmai queue is so long. We had been waited for about 30 minutes only got seated. Earlier on, Li Ee want to join us but she was unable to snake out last minutes. Too bad. Once she reached home, she also want to eat fresh sashimi after heard what we said. Then we decided to go again to have our dinner there. Haha:) A bit crazy coz we went twice in the same day. I feel so good after having the sashimi...

Have a rest in the day time. At night, we went to Chew 's uncles house to visit in Cheras. Before we go, we went to buy Baskin Robin coz having 31% disocunt on that day. Treated by Suk Ee. We thought of buying 2 pint but already fisnihed so we bought one quart with 2 flavour (Espresso & Pitachio Almond). His uncle was just passed away around Dec 2008. So their family was not celebrating Chinese New Year this year and also not giving ang pao. After the visit we had our supper in the hawker stalls in Tmn Muda market.

Is everyone birthday today but nothing special to us. Thought of going home early today to rest coz I start work the next day. We had Bak Kut Teh Mee for breakfast, then me and hubby went to Leisure Mall 's Kiddy Place to buy something for Sheyanne. We bought a head supporter for her, muchkin formula dispenser and Advent milk bottle teether from Kiddy Place. We bought a toy in Bebe's Home too. After that, we had a late lunch at chicken rice stall near Leisure Mall. When we reached Sri Petaling, Dad-in Law cooked fish porridge and we ate again. So full after eating so much things. sad to heard that chew's 姑婆's husband was passed away on 31/01/09.
As a conclusion these new year holidays, I ate a lots and gain weight...Oh my god. So difficult to slim down abit after give birth. Now gained weights again. Haih..But we spend less this holidays. Quite lucky that we didn't spend much since teh economy is so bad now and we feel that having more cash on hand is more save. Hehe:)
Valentines Day is nothing special for me. For me, everyday could be valentines day. Hehe:) On valentines Day, I followed my parents to Ipoh together with Sheyanne to visit my aunty there. Early morning around 6pm, we departed from home. Sheyanne was having a good sleep in the car along the journey. We made a stop in Bidor to have our breakfast and same as Sheyanne. After breakfast, I changed her to a new pair of clean and pretty dress. Haha:) After that, continue our journey direct to Ipoh, Kampung Bercham where my aunty staying. My mom was the driver this time and we got the wrong way. Made the journey longer. Around 11.30am +, we only reached our destinations. Old folks will have their own topics of chatting while, we are still not in their category, Sheyanne was playing with Lucas and we got a chance to see my moms oldies photos in my aunty place. Haha:) Long long time black and white photos. We went out for lunch at about 12.30pm+. Aunty brought us to Restaurant Unique somewhere at Sunway City Ipoh. After lunch we dismiss and come back to KL. Along the trip, Sheyanne was so good girl and only sleep, play and milk. Hehe:) At night, we went dinner with in laws and family in hawker stalls. That's my Valentines Day in 2009! Haha:) But i still feel happy without any gifts.
A good moody sunday. We played and have fun together with Sheyanne early the morning after she woke up at about 9am. Photos shooting is the best timing for that period. Coz Sheyanne in good mood also every morning after woke up. Haha:) After fun, we take bath and have dim sum in Restaurant Hee Lai Ton (Pudu) together with my family. Since my since was backed to KL and she got long long time never eat dim sum. Haha:) after Dim Sum, we brought Sheyanne for injection only. Really have to praise her a good girl which doctor also said she is so good. She never cry at all for the injection. She is so tough and even tougher than me and hubby. We was so worry that she will cry or feel uncomfortable for the injection. But she feel nothing. Her weight now is 5.4kgs. Grow up normally..Hehe:) After injection, we went Mid Valley to accompany my sis to buy some clothings coz she brought nothing back to KL and because her luggage was full of souvenirs...no place for her to pack her own things. Haha:) We have our late lunch in Sushi Zanmai. So great for having such nice lunch. Before we leave, we have our desserts in Haagen danz ice-cream. 5 of us (chew, aa, bok, alison and me) had ate around rm80 for only ice-cream. So expensive..Since bok treat the Sushi lunch, then we treat back ice-cream. Haha:) 
The food is not as good as I want expected. A bit disappointed on the food. The seats are not in a table. All of us are seated in separate table. We were the last pair who arrived. So sorry for that, gals. Once i reached, we met Aunty Jenny was dining there also with her church friend. Then Kim cant wait to hug Sheyanne once she saw the little princess. This dinner was so great for both of us coz got people to take care her while we are having our dinner. We can just enjoyed a meal. It's quite hard for us to chit chat coz all seated in different tables. Anyway, everyone are so excited to see Sheyanne.
