Soba is much easy to cook and prepared. Can be done in 10 minutes. Just added a simple mouse ham as decor on it.

Glad to hear that Ann finished it. That is the most biggest compliment and motivate me continue making bento for her.

Penguin Egg & Shaped Pasta

Learned the penguin decor from Internet from a sample of bento making book. I didn't buy but it showed me, I just do it by my way. Cut the hard boiled egg to half, and another half left for hubby. Then the cooked the shaped pasta. Decor a wiener as a rat and a ham as a teddy bear. It was time consuming for making the penguin but i still managed to get it done.

Lil Penguin Egg

1st of all, I m very happy that the naughty girl become very good girl. She willing to wear the dress which she had rejected all the time. Together with her lovely cardigan some more. 2ndly, she clear all the food in her bento today. I m so glad about it and I told her that:" Mummy giving you 3 stars today for her good behave!" She seems very happy. Now whenever she rejected my order or being naughty, I will just ignore her and let her be, then pretend I m ok with it. Then she become more scare and not dare to offence me again. However, sometime I need to let her go and sometime need to get back the strings on her. Hope this way help!

Little Mouse Cha Soba

Soba is one of Ann favourite also. But unfortunately, while I was boiling the water to cook the soba, it was running out of gas. OMG! suddenly no gas, what to do? I change it to rice cooker to cook. It was overcooked and the soba is too soft. Then quickly decor the 2 quail eggs with little mouse.

Very happy that Ann eat the bento although she didn't finished. She ate the quail eggs but soba she couldn't finished. I know a bit not nice but she still ate and have little bit left over. Haha:)

Little Mouse Soba

Had been stop making bento these few days since Ann is having school holidays. Thought of can enjoy more sleep in the morning. But I m very glad that Ann told me she missed my bento last night. She requested a noodles bento for her to bring to FIL house to eat. :)

This is simple and easy making it. Cook the soba with some salt. Then make the soy sauce, I add in some sesame oil this time. I like sesame taste so much. :) Then I decor the quail egg as a little mouse. The mouse tail is a food pick actually. Newly got it from Daido. This bento just take me about 15 minutes to complete.

When I m hone, I can't wait to know how Ann clean the bento. Then my FIL said she doesn't like the sesame oil. She only ate the little mouse quail egg. :( What I like, she doesn't like...

Bird Nest Soba Bento

After a week of observation, I found that Sheyanne doesn't like rice. She prefer noodles, macaroni & soba. Seems like I need to work hard for it. Rice bento she mostly does't eat it but for noodles & macaroni, sure she will completed it. :)
