China Trip Day 2

Day 2 (16th April 2009)

Weather - 12'c ~ 16'c
Today our journey started from 9am from hotel. 1st stop is the Tea Farm somewhere near a mountain so it was quite windy and cold. We bought some tea candy as souvenirs. The scenery there is really nice and beautiful. A very natural environment. After that, we proceed to West Lake again. Before we walked thru the garden, we had our lunch near there named "味庄". The restaurant renovated very high class and all the dishes are nice like art but of coz also very delicious. The VIP room that we had our lunch there normally got minimum spend of RMB3k but that day there is no minimum charges. We so enjoyed our lunch there. Only spend RMB600+ for 9 adults. We had made a big mistake coz we was thinking only take lunch there so we didnt bring the baby stroller down. OMG! Have to carry her around the garden in West Lake. Lucky there is many of us and we just take turns. There are so mnay colorful flowers and having a beautiful nice scenery view from there. Like the West Lake so much. We spend the whole afternoon there till 5pm then we leave to an old town place called "宋城". We had our worst dinner in that place. The food totally not tasty somemore not cheap. Costed about RMB 140+. I rather pay more to have delicious food. Then we wait for time for our show. This show is also a great show. All acted by real person. Heard that it cost RMB180 / pax for the tickets. Very worth to watch the show also. Lastly, we back to our hotel to rest and charge energy for the next day journey.
