China Trip Day 3

Day 3 (17th April 2009)
Weather - 10'C ~ 15'C

Today we are leaving Hangzhou at 8.30am to the small town village called " 乌镇" & " 周庄" while we are on the way to Shanghai. Weather consider sunny and ok during the day time. But it was really freezing cold at night. Especially while we are taking the boat to see the night view of Shanghai. 乌镇 is a water village. Very small and full of kampung feel. But the environment is really nice coz close to natural environment.

Where is 周庄 is also almost same as 乌镇 but this place a bit commercial style already. We had our lunch at 周庄 and ate the big pork leg called 万三蹄. Taste good so we take away 4 pcs with vacum packaging by them. China man alwasy liek to cheat people. Before we ordered, they told us is RMB50 each. But when we make payment, they want us RMB272. According to them, they said they are giving us teh bigger size wan so price is higher. OMG. Got cheated! Somemore after we back to KL to eat, the taste is not as good as we ate lcoally there. The 周庄 tour is an additional added when we reach there. RMB 200 per pax include the transport, entrance fees and one lunch. For me, the price consider ok coz earlier on, they wnat us RMB200 but exclude the boat, and lunch. RMB200 only for the transport. It was just 50km from 乌镇. Haih...Finally we fight for it for what we want.

After that, we continue our journey to Shanghai. We had our dinner in a Restaurant Kimora - rbought by the local tour leader also. This restaurant is very nice as just like dining in the palace. Food also very nice. This dinner costed us RMB280 only. Sound cheap coz the food is delicious somemore again we dine in a VIP room. After the dinner, we take a boat to watch the nice view across 黄浦江. Night view is very very nice but very windy and my little princess still can sleep while I m hugging her to keep her warm. Everyone freezing cold on the boat. After the night view, then we go Nanjing Road for shopping. Giving a short time. So no chance for us to shopping. On top of that, all those branded things is selling much more expensive in Shanghai. After that, our journey havent end yet. We proceed to 新天地. This place is a happening place for the young people. Just like the Bukit Bintang in KL. All are pubs, cafe and disco. With babies, we just have a look and never sat down to have a coffee. So our Day 3 journey end at this place and proceed to check in our hotel - Holiday Inn Ekspress. Tiring day and back to room at 11pm.
