Homemade Donut

Ingredients:
350g strong white flour
Pinch salt
30g sugar
50g margarine
7g yeast
65ml warm milk
1 large egg, beaten

Coating
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Method:
1. Sieve the flour and salt in a big mixer bowl
2. Add in sugar and mix well.
3. Add in margarine and use the flour to mixed well by rubbing it.
4. Add in yeast and mix well.
5. Add the beaten egg in the middle of the flour and warm milk.
6. Kneel the dough until it is firm.
7. Cover the dough and keep in a cover and warm place for about 1 hour.
8. Take out the dough and kneel for few moments.
9. Cut the circle donut shape.
10. Cover all the donut ring for another 20 minutes.
11. Heat the pan with half cooking oil and fried it until golden brown.
12. Lastly, coat it with the sugar in another pan and serve.
Mini Donut
As for 1st time experience making it. Consider not bad. I feel that not soft enough. Perhaps I didn't kneel the dough enough. This is not so sweet recipe. In future will try add another 10g of sugar may be. :) I found that the thickness of donut is too thick. Should cut it with thinner thickness (about 1.5cm) of dough next time. There is still room for improvement!
